The Korea Ice Hockey Association (KIHA) put together a list of the different ice hockey vocabularies between South and North Korea and distributed it to the players ahead of their first training for 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. In South Korea, ice hockey adapted the sounds of English words for most sporting terms while North has developed ‘pure’ Korean sporting terminology.
